In 2012, while installing an outdoor kitchen and fireplace, Scott Widmer had a vision: to simplify the process and reduce installation time using prefabricated elements. This sparked the creation of Round Grove Products
Starting with panelized, collapsible outdoor kitchen cabinets and storage sheds, Scott relentlessly sought customer feedback, refining designs and expanding product options.
The result? Products that were installed quicker, eliminated the need for extensive materials and skilled labor (compared to other fireplace kits), offered greater customization, and lowered the overall installation cost.

Round Grove manufactured its first ready-to-finish fireplace model in 2013, followed by the introduction of brick oven production in 2015. The innovative Kiva-Mezzo combination unit (U.S. Patent No. D861410), blending a brick pizza oven and outdoor fireplace, was launched in 2016. This combination is exclusive to Round Grove Products.

Initially focused on the Great Lakes region, Round Grove's reach expanded nationwide with the launch of our website. Our first international sale in 2017 marked a significant milestone. From humble beginnings in the Widmer’s garage, production moved to a local Amish workshop and then to our current state-of-the-art facility and showroom in Orrville, Ohio.
