Thanksgiving Pizza?

Thanksgiving is right around the corner and piles of leftover turkey and sides are inevitable. Of course, you can always just reheat and eat, but why not try something a little more creative with the remains of your feast? Try out this Cranberry Barbecue Thanksgiving Pizza recipe in your brick oven and let us know what you think!

You will need…

  • Pizza dough (homemade or store-bought)

For the sauce:

  • ½ cup cranberry sauce
  • 1 tbsp red wine vinegar
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • ¼ cup ketchup
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar

Place all ingredients in a small sauce pan and simmer 3-5 minutes.


  • 1 cup Pulled turkey meat
  • Sliced red onion
  • ½ cup Shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ¼ cup Parmesan cheese
  • Veggies of your choice (we suggest green beans, brussel sprouts, or broccoli)
  • 1 tbsp melted butter
  • 1 clove minced garlic


  1. Dust counter surface with flour and roll out your pizza dough to about a 10 in. round
  2. Mix turkey meat with a few tablespoons of the cranberry barbecue sauce
  3. Combine butter and garlic and brush over pizza crust
  4. Spread cranberry barbecue sauce mixture over pizza dough
  5. Sprinkle sliced red onion over the sauce
  6. Top with ½ the parmesan and mozzarella cheese
  7. Add pulled turkey and veggies
  8. Sprinkle remaining cheese
  9. Slide pizza into brick oven or use a pizza stone and cook for 6-7 minutes at around 400 degrees
  10. Top with fresh basil, olive oil drizzle, salt and pepper, etc. at your discretion

Slice! Serve! Enjoy!
